Create · Import · Publish
Have Claude make your website.
Drop it in. It's live.
This site is a plain HTML home for whatever you create. Ask Claude for a page, save the index.html (or a whole folder), put it here, and Netlify publishes it as-is. No frameworks and no build step.
How it works
-
01
Create
Ask Claude for a website, for example:
Make a single-file landing page for my bakery, warm and rustic.
Copy the HTML it gives you. -
02
Import
Save it as
index.htmland put it in thesite/folder. If you have images, CSS, or extra pages, put the whole folder in. -
03
Publish
Deploy and Netlify serves the folder exactly as it is. Your
index.htmlbecomes the homepage.
Importing a file or a folder
Anything inside site/ goes online. Choose the option that matches what Claude gave you:
Replace site/index.html with your file. You don't need to change anything else.
Replace everything in site/ with your folder's contents. Keep index.html at the top level of the folder and keep the relative links (like css/style.css) as they are.
Prefer not to touch code? Drag the folder onto Deploys in the Netlify dashboard, or ask the Netlify agent: Replace the site with this index.html.

Questions
Does my file need a specific format?
Any standard HTML file works. Files that are self-contained, with CSS and JS inside the HTML, are the easiest to import.
Can I have more than one page?
Yes. Add about.html and it's served at /about. Subfolders that contain an index.html work too.
What about forms or a database?
Netlify can add contact forms, storage, and sign-ups later. Just ask for them once your pages are in place.
